· I’ve learned that if a friend is a friend, they always will be a friend, rain or shine. Job or no job.

· I’ve learned that people always make time for good friends, and fair-weather friends naturally fall away.

· I’ve learned that no matter how much money I have or don’t have, life is not about money. Money is useful, and I do need it, but it will never define me or my life.

· I’ve learned that I will survive.

· I’ve learned that my time is precious, so I choose to spend it well, and do what I enjoy doing in my life.

· I’ve learned that after every rain, there is a rainbow.

· I’ve learned that life isn’t about a resume, a degree, status, or power.

· I’ve learned that I have a lot of wonderful friends and family who love me, and that’s all that matters.

· I’ve learned that no matter how bad life can get, I will always pick myself up by my bootstraps, get back in the game, and be on the court.

· I’ve learned to notice the sunsets, convene with nature, help others, and be grateful for my life.

· Life is not about always winning, having the best car, being well thought of, or the digits in our lives that seem to loom so large.

· It’s about taking care of myself, my wellness, being there for others, and making a difference.

When you lose a job, it just might be time to recreate your life and get back in touch with whom and what you are committed to.

I am excited about the next chapter.
